Our Home Church

Seeking a place to call "home" with God's people is a little more difficult than one might think.  When we first visited Colorado Springs a councilor at Colorado Christian University directed us to what he called "an awesome, spirit filled church with powerful Christian worship".  Well, after arriving here, we tried many churches and ended up with God "blessing our socks off" at Woodmen Valley Chapel.  www.woodmenvalley.org.  This community has more churches per capita then I think any city in the world (I haven't confirmed that).  There are so many choices that it can get confusing.  Listen to the Spirit, that is my only advice.

Just a few pictures of the Rockrimmon campus.  Our church is going through lots of changes.  Pastor Matt Heard is a very Godly Pastor and he can relate God's word in a real, life application way.  We are going through a tremendous growth period and feel blessed to be part of Launch Your Faith.  This is a biblically based approach to God's people getting involved and putting feet to their belief.

Yep, that's us.  I always have to protect my bald head.  The day was truly a blessing for us all.  If you don't have a home church, please try out Woodmen Valley Chapel.  God's Word is truly preached, and taught with Love.  Check out the church website above for additional information.

2005 Update

The work is all done and we have been in the new building for quite a while now.  It is very exciting to see the Lord work in this church family.  Visit the Woodmen link above to learn about all of the wonderful programs available.
