Family LifeWOW, my wonderful family. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife and three beautiful children. Relocating from a small, quiet, rural neighborhood to a busy suburb has been a bit of fun and shock. We truly are experiencing a different life than before. So many opportunities to interact with each other with all that the "Springs" offers to do. Bowling, movies, awesome concerts, sports, you name it! Not a boring weekend - unless you want one. I have noticed that walks to the park take priority over yard work now, since we moved from 1.2 acres to .15 acres. Trips to the local Zoo and huge shopping areas are a novelty for us. This may not be different for some of you but, while you do all of this you realize that Pikes peak is looming in the background and promise of adventures at 7 falls, Garden of the Gods, and the opportunity for skiing adventure with the family is just there all the time. The wonder of Gods creative genius is overwhelming.
The zoo is on the side of Cheyenne mountain overlooking the Colorado Springs valley. Take a look at www.cmzoo.org Family adventures abound in this area. If you love God's creation, you will love Colorado. We recently moved to Briargate. This area is filled with beautiful, tree lined walking trails and parks. We just love to take an evening stroll and enjoy the views and friendly neighborhoods. The quality of life is excellent and surely adds to our interaction together and with our friends. Does your dog need grooming? Well, April- our daughter, is learning the art of dog grooming and will work at the Powers Pet Smart grooming center. She has been one of the best dog washers before heading off to grooming school. We are so very proud of her accomplishments and enjoy watching her achievements wherever she goes. Melody is one year away from graduation from Pensacola Christian College. She is always on the Deans list and amazes us with her artistic talent. She will be a graphic artist upon graduation. She is a real blessing. Austin is getting to be a great skateboarder (at least in my opinion) and is doing great in home schooling. He is excited to branch out and attend a charter school next year. He makes us very proud. He attends and serves in a church, Grace Community Church, where he is connected and feels to be a real part of the congregation.
I will be updating this and all pages as time moves along. Please visit the areas that interest you. |
